Furkan Özçelik received his B.Sc. degree of Computer Engineering from Istanbul Technical University (ITU) in 2018. He was among the top 3 students in the graduating class of 2018 in ITU Faculty of Computer and Informatics. He received the M.Sc. degree of Computer Engineering from ITU in 2020. He mainly worked on pansharpening on satellite images with self-supervised learning and generative adversarial networks in his M.Sc. studies. He worked as a Turkcell-ITU research & teaching assistant at ITU Faculty of Computer and Informatics between 2018 and 2020. He is currently doing his Ph.D. on Cognitive Neuroscience and AI at The Brain and Cognition Center, University of Toulouse III – Paul Sabatier, Toulouse, France. His main research interests focus on neural decoding, representation learning, deep learning, generative models and visual reconstruction from fMRI.
