Biography
I am a junior software engineer, interested in product development, decentralized apps, privacy.
I used to do research in machine learning as a Ph.D. student at UNC-Chapel Hill. I published 4 AI/ML papers in the best venues for their topics. (ECCV, MICCAI…)
I worked at 2 institutes, UNC-CH and Istanbul Technical University. My research at UNC was focusing on inverse problems, specifically image registration with machine learning. My past research at ITU was focusing on generative models in medical imagining procedures which are awarded by many renowned institutes of Turkey and the world. In addition to my research, I have attended various hackathons, programming competitions, and app-development events in Turkey.
From teaching perceptive, I served as a teaching assistant for the first time offered, graduate-level Deep Learning course voluntarily when I was an undergraduate. I created assignments, held some sessions for ramp-up tutorials, evaluated the assignments.
